Pros
It provided me with great opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge in the Fire Alarm and Low Voltage industries. I've also had the opportunity to work with good people.
Cons
All though I didn't work in Sylmar/head quarters, the overall feel of my local branch had changed from positive and upbeat to negative and down trodden. The cash flow problems could be felt and at times affected me and my family personally.
The owners were upbeat and apologetic when addressing these cash flow problems and did their best to work through these problems on a personal level with me.
After working for 5 years to earn it, vacation/PTO was cut from 18 days to just 12 days per year in 2015. 12 days just isn't enough time. I work to live not the other way around.
