Pros

Experience working directly with clients. Provided a laptop to complete reports while in the field. Mileage is reimbursed monthly.

Cons

Poor management team who believe keeping up constant threats of write ups and termination as encouragement to improve billable hours. (Environment stressful and ripe for fraud). Management provides poor feedback. High turn over rate. Expect working through lunch to be a common occurrence. Hard to take time off since it counts against your billable hours for the month.

Pros

TCBHC has a vital mission and a dedicated board. There are strong foundational services in place, particularly in adaptive crisis response and compliance. The core work is impactful, and individuals tend to be kind and helpful.

Cons

The culture is "unnecessarily hamstrung" by a lack of transparency and a resistance to change. Leadership styles are ambiently combative/detracting, and there is a significant "willingness gap" when it comes to engaging in good-faith improvements or modernizing workforce engagement. Empathy for the workforce is non-existent past most lower-middle level management.
