Transposit's engineering team moves fast without breaking things. They vet new ideas by deciding whether or not they'll bring value to users. When they know for sure an endeavor is high value, they spend time writing quality code and tests. When they're less clear on what will stick, they focus on pushing out an MVP quickly and gathering data. As a result, the product evolves rapidly and engineers reach consensus with minimal politics.

Deciding whether or not a feature will bring value to users is difficult. The decision is only as good as the data available and sometimes it is impractical for engineers to gather this data. The process becomes more political in these circumstances.
