Pros

Transfreight is a good place to work for anyone interested in logistics and analyzing problems. The company generally promotes from within whenever possible, and tries to be as responsive as possible by adopting Toyota's kaizen philosophy.

Cons

Some of the supervisors are not particularly respectful of their employees. Furthermore, traffic coordinators are expected to change shifts every few months, which makes it difficult to schedule any personal activities.

Pros

Keeps you busy, fast paced. chance for advancement after one year. not much else to say as a pro. other than to say its a job.

Cons

Old equipment the shunt truck I'm using is 8 years old and poorly maintained. Little to no training on the job your assigned. Pay is way below what it should be, if there is a mistake in your pay it takes a long time to get it fixed. If one of the shunt drivers has a day off, management waits until the last min to try to get someone to fill in, leaving the other shunt driver to do the extra work.
