Company Review - Junior Project Engineer Transformer Protector Employee Review

TPC provides employees a lot of experience with which to grow and develop their skill sets in engineering generally and the power industry specifically. In addition, there are a lot of opportunities to travel the country and world, given specific roles. There is an excellent sense of camaraderie at TPC, and the people working there are all very capable, helpful, and friendly. Company barbecues are great!

I don't have anything to add.

I started at TPC fresh out of college and had a good experience being mentored. It is a small company so we all know each other very well. The technical issues in the field were challenging but it was fun traveling to many places I have never seen. Almost everybody in the company is from a different country or is 1st generation American so if you like culture you will enjoy that aspect.

After a couple of years I moved on to Oil and Gas with a huge company that has too much bureaucracy. When the oil price crashed I was layed off and was back at TPC. I was very happy to be back in the family. I don’t see why some reviews are so negative but I guess in a small company some people butt heads.
