Pros
Competitive compensation. They pay well for the stress they generate.
Cons
No management systems exist. Everything is personality driven, not process reliant. If one person leaves their position those left must re-create the wheel. We don't evaluate how many man-hours are required to maintain the status quo, nor how many more we should add to make changes to the lines. Everyone ends up with too much on their plate and nothing gets done to any sort of standard.
