Cons
Working at Traderoot was an incredibly unhealthy, tumultuous and emotionally exhausting experience that nobody should be going through. The directors operate through fear rather than trust. The CEO divides and conquer talking negatively about staff in open spaces spreading rumours, blaming people, or being punished when concerns are raised. The CEO’s behaviour sets the tone with regular angry outbursts, shouting and threats, which creates an atmosphere of intimidation and public humiliation of staff. The company has a very high staff turnover, often resigning with immediate effect. Those who work their notice often have their salaries paid very late and treated poorly by the CEO. He claims that he will have the last say and nobody will go against him. Several clients have complained about his rude attitude that follows with the company known for poor customer service. Leadership and communication create confusion with lack of clear direction, constant shifting of priorities with directors all giving different instructions to different people for the same tasks, followed by constant blame and criticism calling people lazy. Salaries are not always paid consistently on the same date each month, which adds to stress and uncertainty. No benefits either. The CEO demands overtime, but refuses to pay. All of the negative reviews posted here unfortunately reflect the reality, and the impact on mental well-being should not be underestimated.
