Pros

Easy going people and overall great atmosphere.

Cons

While I believe in the company and it has good product-market fit, it's still a startup & not as safe as, say, MSFT. Doesn't bother me, but may bother you.

Pros

Talented and hard-working crew. There's a healthy amount of freedom and autonomy. Team members are like friends. Asynchronous communication is preferred.. we don't get bogged down by pointless meetings. Fully remote but there are opportunities to meet in person. Alignment in addressing the climate crisis is serious. Founders are very kind and compassionate... they're in it for the right reasons. The organization carries the web3 ethos of encouraging teammates to focus on where they best thrive.

Cons

Toucan moved into the spotlight fast, from unknown to being in Bloomberg, TIME mag, etc. in just months. The team grew quickly and there has been a fair amount of disorganization.. Objectives are not always clear and leadership has limited experience scaling companies. We're jumping around some deciding what to do next. All this is prob normal given the circumstances.

Pros

The team is easily the best reason to work here. They are incredibly talented, warm-hearted and always willing to help you out. It's an environment where a proactive approach is encouraged even if that might lead to mistakes. But, and that's really important, mistakes are part of life and everybody here knows it and will help you fix them without giving you a hard time. This way we can move really fast and that's awesome to be a part of. Also, I don't need to tell you how good it feels to work on something meaningful.

Cons

Since Toucan is such a new company, it's lacking structure here and there and onboarding can be a bit bumpy.
