Pros
Stock options, RRSP match, and salary are very competitive. Freedom to work when/where required (mostly because of COVID WFH) Potential to move to new roles frequently if desired Decent opportunities for industrial related training
Cons
Management seems to be an "old boys club", promoting those with most time with the company versus those with the relevant experience/educational background. A lot of tradespeople in managerial roles who struggle with technology, leading technology-driven teams. Onboarding is weak. Very little training is given to new employees for their roles - a "sink or swim" mentality. If you are not a self starter you will struggle. Company is full of legacy employees, 30-40 year people who are resistant to change.
