Pros

None this is the worst place to work for

Cons

They micro manage it’s a remote job yet you have to get permission to step way for a 3 min bathroom break they change procedures every week because they are in a trial and error phase for the last year the managers are extremely rude they did a massive hiring full time employed through company then turned around a month later and fired everyone they hired that previous month because they were over staffed and underestimated the role and were not ready to launch intake department actually.. also they don’t have real lawyers. These aren’t lawyers at all just a 3rd party company that refers peeople to their nearest law firm in the area but top dog doesn’t actually have lawyer

TopDog Law Response

We are sorry to hear of your perceived experience at TopDog Law. To address a few of the concerns listed here. TopDog Law is owned by a lawyer. Our fully remote intake call center staff is given thorough training and then evaluated to see if they meet the standards required to be an intake specialist. Unfortunately, some intake specialists do not meet our minimum requirements even after retraining. It has never been our policy to require intake specialists to ask permission to step away for a bathroom break. Our company surveys our staff anonomously every month to gauge job satisfaction and prides itself in receiving scores of 90% and higher from our staff. Many of our staff refer their friends and family to work at TopDog Law because they find it such an amazing place to work. Again, we are sorry you did not perceive your time here to be a good experience and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Working with a team that built each other up, caring about one another.

Cons

Bonus structure/reporting metrics inaccurate, uneducated individuals in charge of call center without understanding of equipment provided/mandated versus optimal equipment required for less errors in dropped calls/inaccurate reporting dashboards. No follow through with cross functionality. Non transparent although promoted. Lack of growth and career development, although the mantra is to promote from within. A lot of smoke and mirrors, which I don’t put on my department/managers. That experience boiled down to letting go vital employees who implemented, persevered, and understood the importance of scaling. Once that was gone, others that were at the helm separated themselves from the WHOLE ecosystem. Those people were not in the right seat.,, A true leader communicates effectively with all cohesively. When you put people in charge that have a dictatorship mentality, versus a true leader that can actually do/understand the grunt work of at least 3/4 of the work force then most intelligent people will assume this is a path that I don’t or will be ran off. This may have changed since then, hope it has. If it has, for how long? Until someone that you said is valuable this year decides to give some insight about streamlining a process? Is that a leader? What is the philosophy? Stay silent? Have solutions? Is that viewed as negative or positive? Interesting.,,
