Pros

Non-leadership employees genuinely great people.

Cons

Leadership greenwashes. Helping one restaurant sell more food only results in excess food at another - zero net impact as long as the same amount of food is produced and consumed in the US, regardless of from where it is consumed. Extremely low percentage of sales team achieves quota, and it has become a burn-and-churn org. Sales role is incredibly repetitive with zero relationship building. Roughly half of all partners drop off the app fairly immediately, largely because reps are required to pressure them into supplying a recurring, scheduled amount of food regardless of whether they actually have food waste. Routine layoffs and restructuring. Leadership inexperienced and inauthentic; zero ties to stated mission; do not use product themselves; oil and fast fashion / athletic wear fast fashion backgrounds. There is no appreciable HR department. No phone number, no employee handbook (they released one then immediately stated it was not valid), a strange policy against managers providing letters of recommendation. No equity and they weirdly host an exchange for you to buy shares (with your own money) from employees who already have equity from previous rounds - so basically more vested employees (mostly in Europe) can profit off of newer employees. Well below market pay and zero opportunity for growth.
