Pros
Unlimited earning opportunity, opportunity to earn trips, 2 months of training, decently flexible schedule.
Cons
Cult-like culture. Extremely poor leadership & culture depending on office. "Optional" unpaid week-long trips twice a year (over holidays) for extended training. Optional is in quotations because you will be shunned if you *request* to miss it. Pyramid-scheme. Majority of sales people in their first year earn under $40k... if you're successful, you are extremely successful- if you are struggling, you won't make enough to live. Small base pay your first 2 years that will lessen each month. No gas reimbursement- you will put an insane amount of wear&tear and miles on your vehicle. Required morning meetings 3-4 days/wk and required to be at office from 3-5 pm every day for phone calling. You will work 70+ hour weeks your first few months which is expected of you. Leadership tells you not to take a vacation your first year... also no PTO.. no pay for sick days, etc. You are given no book of business- not an account manager role- you will hustle to find prospects.
