Pros
Bonuses are good enough to make up for poor salary. Decent benefits. Company makes a load of money so secure.
Cons
No parking or hybrid working as everyone else has said. And before the poor soul who has to write the replies on here starts pasting in the stock responses the no hybrid rule is because of a lack of trust in colleagues and it's unfair to suggest otherwise. The bigger problem with hybrid is that it actually is allowed. Certain people who are senior or good at creeping work at home a lot and some departments sneak it in quite a lot as well. No consistency is one of the worst things here. Too many people who've been here too long and have no idea what the outside world is like, so it never feels fresh. Too many fake Directors, given the title to satisfy their fragile egos. Too many of them do nothing except being the prime examples of the blame culture. It's also a bit culty. The top bods don't get that some people don't give a monkeys about the firm and it's just a job. To top it off you can expect to be talked over, called 'emotional', have men talk to your chest, judged for leaving to collect your son from school rather than work longer hours for no money and all the other stuff you'd expect from a place where the board is a parade of old white men. Of course you can raise this with HR, but the only difference it makes is your bonus will be less because you've not "Displayed the right behaviours".
