Pros
There are opportunities to be able to assist people who may not be getting the help they need. Care coordinators help each other by sharing resources and giving advice.
Cons
Not much support is given to care coordinators to help people meet their needs. Other care coordinators often end up being the most helpful resources. Supervisors often micromanage despite not providing sufficient guidance to help care coordinators get the assistance they need. New guidelines and procedural changes are introduced on a regular basis without much of an adjustment period.
