Pros
Been in sales for 5 years. I've been working at Tipalti for 4 months now, and each day gets better and better. The training was in depth when I first joined and they really give you time to get a hang of the product. The two aspects that were important to me when I was looking for my next sales gig was a great product and a supportive manager/team. For me, Tipalti has checked those boxes beyond my expectations. I feel very supported from my manager, he's always available and coaching me up and helping me strategize on deals, and I've never been a part of team that is so collaborative. Everyone is available to help, it's not an overly competitive environment where everyone is looking out for themselves, which is very refreshing. Furthermore, the product is best in class, which most of the time will accelerate your deal cycles as prospects see so much value from it. Lastly, it's a great culture. It's definitely work hard play hard. I've met some awesome people, and the company is always looking to throw events to build team chemistry (this has been a bit tricky in the post-covid world). Lastly, couple of my favorite perks (there's many more): - Free in office lunch 3 times a week (Hybrid business model so we have to go to the office twice a week) - Paid cell phone plan
Cons
Hard for me to find any cons. If I'm being picky, there are some bandwidth issues as the company is growing so fast and the sales support team is trying to catch up with that. I'd like to see them hire a few more people. That being said, so far I've never felt unsupported in any of my deals, and in my opinion this is a good problem to have.
