Pros

Nice office & they provide lunch and snacks

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, I was in a heavy processing role and was provided with one months training, after that you’re expected to achieve a 98.5% accuracy rate, you’re also monitored for how quickly you process tasks so finding the balance between accuracy and timeliness is borderline impossible. Management will never be happy until your numbers are the same as the employees based in China, in my opinion they have a complete lack of understanding of working cultures for different regions. This probably explains why certain teams are 70-80% Chinese and lack diversity… why even have a London office? They make employees take quarterly exams… The company has no org chart, you see hundreds of people each day with no clue who they are or what they do. I’m not sure I’m allowed to share the exact wording of the employee contract but there are some terms i’m surprised are even legal… for anyone thinking of joining I advise asking to see a copy of all contract terms before handing your notice in to your current company, especially if your type of role has overtime. Was told on a Wednesday that the following week we would be returning to three days a week in the office, little warning, no consultation and no consideration to their employees personal schedules. For those thinking of joining, at the interview stage it’s important you discuss in depth what the targets are for your role and how success will be measured because the bonus will be very hard to achieve. Overall I think this is a soulless company, in my work history the shortest time I’ve spent at a company was three years, at TikTok I wanted to leave after three months.

Pros

Pay is level with industry and actual work is somewhat interesting depending on the team you're on

Cons

In my experience, career growth can feel very limited if you are not part of the dominant internal language and cultural network. A significant amount of important context, communication, and decision-making happens in Chinese, which can make non-Chinese-speaking employees feel excluded from key conversations and promotion opportunities. The environment did not feel as inclusive as it should be for a global company. Advancement often felt less tied to performance and more tied to whether you were connected to the right groups or able to operate fluently within the Chinese-speaking side of the organization. Over time, it felt like non-Chinese-speaking employees had fewer long-term career paths and were at risk of being replaced by people who could better fit that internal operating model. Things also move very slowly because employees are often given access only to the bare minimum needed to do their jobs. There is a heavy push toward using AI tools, but in practice it can make it harder to get help from real people. Instead of getting quick support, you often have to spend time going through AI bots or internal tools before getting a useful answer.
