Cons
The talent and passion left and was replaced by a lifeless hunchback CEO named Tom Rogers. The new CEO was a clueless suit with zero comprehension of design or technology. He ran the company into the ground and collected a fat payday. When it was time to evolve and grow as a company, the CEO made sure the company stagnated and innovated nothing new. He was so pathetically useless that he didn't even bother relocating to California, the board let him run the company from New York. The smart money left early and went to innovative tech companies. TiVo is now a fossilized technology being pushed on small regional cable companies.
