Pros
Great people seem to work at Thrivent. It has been a very positive environment and coworkers are engaging and helpful. Thrivent has great values and has a great mix of feeling like corporate while working alongside people with great morals and values themselves. Work/life balance is amazing - definitely work hard and yet enjoy your time off.
Cons
Larger organization so it can feel like you are a small cog on a very big wheel, but Thrivent does try its best at communicating consistently from leadership and providing retreats or conferences to meet and learn from others. Haven't yet tried to move around within the organization, so can't speak to how easy it is to grow into other roles, but have heard from some that it can be difficult to advance.
