-Management targets individuals that have just been laid off or require H1 visas. They try to hire people at extremely low salaries and provide them false promises that they can be promoted later on. -Nobody at Thorlabs has any idea about whats going on. Managers have to balance too may project and cannot focus on releasing quality products. -HR doesn't know how to file H1 visas and will mess up your paper work! Employees have fill out all the H1 paper work otherwise they could be deported! -Low Pay -Terrible Benefits -Salary employees have to clock in and out.....What company forces salary employees to do this ===> ONLY THORLABS -Management would rather hire new and recent grads rather than grooming and promoting within the company. Absolutely no advancement -No work from home, no flex time, no fun
