Pros
1) Company supports work life balance including recognizing international differences in work practices, holidays, schedules, etc. 2) We're driven to get things done but everyone is generally reasonable and understanding when priorities and timelines shift. 3) I have autonomy to make decisions and know that upper management will have my back. 4) The software is incredibly flexible and high quality meaning that we don't spend all day telling our clients what they can't do because generally we actually can meet their needs. 5) Employees (including upper management) genuinely care about each other as humans. 6) So far my clients have all been wonderful people to work with and very reasonable. 7) Pay is reasonable to generous depending on role. 8) Bi-annual trips where everyone can meet up in a city for a week to get to know each other better, have working sessions, etc. 9) Top to bottom, the company has a high value for diversity and inclusion.
Cons
We're almost all remote and have team members in multiple US time zones, UK, Central Europe, and India. This can make coordinating schedules challenging at times. Also, if you thrive on being physically around people, this work environment can be challenging.
