I am a current employee at THINNOX and have been for the last three plus years. The place is vibrant; every member of the team has a well defined role; flat structure, minimal supervision. The Academic Faculty, to which I belong works well within itself and there are standards and templates for most things, so it's easy. Well defined processes exist for the smallest thing and the work flow is streamlined. Access is available when I want; hours are flexible; there is always room to work around the schedule as and when a personal need arises. Good work is recognized, I must say, and just by looking at my role when I started..it has expanded rapidly and I was recently promoted to a bigger brief within a short span of time.

The time keeping process adds to the administration but can be managed.

The other staff are generally wonderful people. The students can be fantastic.

Management do not pay staff for all of the hours that they expect them to work. For instance they expect staff who teach to prepare lesson plans for each and every lesson they teach, but refuse to pay them for these hours. Management micromanage everyone. Management skirt employment law at best and actively break it at worst. For instance no matter what crisis might arise they will try to only pay staff for a maximum of part time hours. To the point of ignoring other hours that they themselves have insisted those staff work. Management are rude, nasty and spiteful towards staff who question their policies, procedures and the legality of their behaviour. I have more than once been yelled and screamed at by the management/owners of this business and this is a familiar tale for anyone who has worked here. Management are clearly creating fake profiles and posting them on Glassdoor as anyone who has worked here can tell that the vast majority of the 'reviews' here are not at all truthful. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
