Pros
I've worked at THINK for 3 years through the agency's re-brand into SEQUEL at a management level, working closely with the principals of the company. Throughout my time at SEQUEL, I have been lucky enough to work beside a team of strategic, intelligent and hardworking individuals. I quickly realized that this agency, due to the experience and commitment of the leadership team has a force, authenticity and unique approach to PR as they strategically make their way through an industry that has seen drastic changes over the past few years by stepping into new ventures that other agencies have yet to tackle, bringing in disruptive + innovative brands in various industries, proving their commitment to clients and contacts and strengthening the loyalty of their team. Through this, I have stepped into lead roles on impactful projects that I never could have imagined having the opportunity to execute prior to joining THINK/SEQUEL I am grateful to work directly with the principals of SEQUEL as they have time and time again brought me under their wing and have educated the team and I extensively on important management, business and life lessons and have surely become 2 people I deeply admire. The biggest lesson I have learned is that yes, sometimes things get hard, clients come and go, the landscape changes, and occasionally, you have to make very hard choices but we can always and will always challenge ourselves to be bigger + do better. As someone who was ready to leave PR all together before stepping into THINK years ago, I have found a place to grow my career while learning something new everyday. I'm incredibly grateful to have found a loyal team that is not only hardworking, honest and encouraging, but who who support your wellbeing and dreams in and out of the office.
Cons
While everyone has been adjusting to the new normal of working remotely, battling Zoom fatigue and most of all, missing interacting with one another we have of course been through various challenges this past year but through that, we have learned to communicate effectively and honestly with one another to find solutions to any challenges that come our way as we navigate this new remote work environment.
