Pros

- Employees are great people to work with and hang around. - Beer. - Pool. - Location. - The turnover is so high that your opportunity for advancement is crazy.

Cons

- The office looks like a hospital with all the white walls. - No budges or hardware.... things stay in purchase queue for months... yet the CEO swears she will approve anything.... approval doesn't matter if she can't pay off the credit card - See all previous posts. The CEO is a psychopath who gets drunk and curses out whoever she can blame for the latest problem in her company. As long as she is out of town, things are great. As soon as she is back, the place falls apart. - I was warned by a friend, who is a recruiter, to not come to Thetus.... I should have listened. - All company meetings are the same: the CEO says "We have all these thousands of users coming"... yet it never comes. I waited years to see growth and it never happened so I left. - The CEO refuses to go after more funding as she likes the control she has now. - The company has been around 10 years and only 2 of the original founders are still around... the CEO & her husband the CTO... the rest quit 'cause they see it's not going anywhere. - The CEO gives different direction and priorities to different people then blames them when it is not accomplished.

Pros

Thetus has been a great place to build on my career in my late twenties. While the day-to-day work can be stressful, the challenges keep me on my toes. This is what keeps me engaged and wanting to come back for more. I have taken advantage of Thetus' education benefit, which allowed me to take several classes at PSU to support my future career goals. As many others have said, the people I get to work with here are amazing! I consider many of my coworkers to be good friends, which is a nice feeling. The open work environment is fun, especially when the Nerf guns come out. I'm not a pet person, but I do enjoy seeing the office dogs roam the floor throughout the day. And I definitely take advantage of the free beer and pool table!

Cons

The work I do feels a bit thankless at times, but that's been true of most places I've worked. I don't feel like I have a clear vision of where the company is headed in the next few years. The CEO openly shares information about our immediate future at company lunches, but I would like to hear more about our longer-term plans.
