There is no doubt that startup mode always comes with high intensity of work and often shifts in daily routines and priorities. So no doubt for anyone who isnt inclined to be in this mode of operation any startup is probably a con. But come into that with open eyes and you will be fine.

The only “pro” is how well they sell the job during the interview. They make it sound like a great opportunity, but within days, you realize you walked into a total disaster with no future.

The environment is toxic, leadership is clueless and incompetent, and micromanagement is out of control. It’s a frustrating and draining place to work.
