Pros

Work Flexibility; brand recognition - top ranked publication; industry respect; access to top tier marketing tools & research; professional & top notch colleagues,

Cons

Ineffective top management, manage by metrics, managers not leaders, lack of understanding on how to motivate salespeople (stick vs carrot). Low and unequally distributed earning potential. Infrastructure is badly fractured.

Pros

Supporting journalism is the one good thing.

Cons

The culture needs improvement, with a strict in-office policy that may not work well for everyone. There also seems to be ongoing challenges with employee retention, which can impact team morale, consistency, and long-term stability. The tech guild and unions made me feel really uncomfortable with coworkers protesting outside the office.
