Pros
Great environment, decent co-workers and excellent location for commute. I respect that most managers have filled almost every role themselves, which makes them slightly more relatable. Available training in other areas if you request to attend and open up. Pretty flexible. Room for small growth, if you demand. If you are personable, pretty, strong willed and slim being a hostess is great for you.
Cons
As Hostess it is key to work closing shifts to avoid being cut, which taps into your pay. Low pay unless you were full-time or worked doubles. They are quick to cut and it can be brutal when you got bills to pay. So, you will need a second job unless you live with your family. Lots of favoritism. This is the job where you will need at the top to stay strong.
