Pros

Owners are ultimately good people who care to be actively involved Great place to start in the industry The staff

Cons

Owners who are too involved without the right experience to be so actively involved in daily management of the business. Management salary/benefits/vacation/ bonus programs lacking and do not properly account for experience or the lack of boundaries by the owners. Work / life balance does not exist High turnover in management annually due to micromanagement by owners and poor compensation

Pros

When I worked there we had a solid team of lifelong servers and generally solid FOH staffthat didn’t slack and had each others backs and management let us do our thing. Management always had our backs when it was us vs customers which was awesome

Cons

Management had a high turnover which led to a lack of rapport building with management and sometimes clueless or just alcoholic management lol

Pros

The people that work there are the best and actually care about making customers happy. They actually still have hearts after beingg treated like crap from the owner and rude customers. Even when customers excell at being THE ABSOLUTE WORST, they smile and walk away. When there are sweet regulars who come in, they really make them feel at home. Its amazing to see how people still care like that. They commit and they should expect the company they work for to take care of them and be sympathetic and understanding but they dont because "its the raymond" and it doesnt work the way a normal restaurant should. Its a shame. The bar and food is great. The way its operated and owned is the worst. This place is beyond understaffed and god forbid you actually have a grandparent that is dying or have an injury and cant make it to work, they are less than understanding.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are so many....The owner spies on employees daily, through a security system that should be used for documenting something that requires security footage. She also has no service background and understanding of how rude customers can be to employees and constantly comps anything to please them since she is beyond obsessed about their rating on Yelp which is bs since everyone who uses Yelp to complain only does it because they had one bad experience. She frequently shows up unannounced, and tells all the customers who are just trying to enjoying their lunch break or business meeting that she owns the place. I've seen her sadly accuse even the most veteran employees, of stealing from her as well. Also there is a creepy waiter that gets handsy (he'll say he was being friendly) and if he touches you, dont say anything about it because you'll be fired as a lawsuit liability :)
