Pros

Passionate people, good colleagues, 35 hour work week, benefits competitive for the nonprofit sector. Inspiring leadership and work, the organization is very credible and it is an organization to be proud of.

Cons

Top heavy with management, not diverse although the organization is working on this and professional development and growth is somewhat limited. I would like to work for a nonprofit that places a higher value on equity and social justice

Pros

Mission is awesome. Great work-life balance.

Cons

Prioritizes comfort over continuous improvement. Very bureaucratic and slow. Incredibly sensitive culture to a point of extremity--don't think you're in a safe space or that you can be open with any communication. Someone will be offended by your honesty and the backlash is yours to manage. They prefer people to just go with the flow even if it's painful, inefficient, etc.
