- Managerial quality is not standard across the organization, with a mixed bag of outstanding managers and ones who do not take managerial best practices and standards seriously. These include very basic best practices of how to deliver timely feedback, set goals for their team, privacy concerns regarding personal information, encouraging and allowing professional development, and identifying and responding to workflow problems.
- Unprofessional HR, including being told when meeting in person to file a workplace complaint that "I know [the manager] and that doesn't sound like them. You should be careful what you say about your coworkers." This was my only one-on-one interaction with an HR employee and it was extremely negative and disheartening.
- Uncompetitive compensation
- Uninspiring growth and promotion potential
