Cons
Management here is an absolute joke. On my required 15-minute break that the owner TOLD ME to take, he had me refill a customer’s drink—while I was clearly off the clock, phone in hand, and taking off my apron. No ‘please’ or ‘thank you,’ just complete disrespect for employees’ time. The nitpicking is ridiculous, like they assume you’re incompetent, even if you have prior experience. One manager, who didn’t even introduce himself, lectured me for 15 minutes on how to do expo and then said if I didn’t do it his way, he’d let me go—on my third day at a brand-new store. They advertise $18-$19/hr but really pay $16.50—false advertising. The job itself isn’t hard, but dealing with management is. They don’t respect their employees, so I walked out. Not worth it.
