Pros
I work for the HomeDepot.com call center. The management is hands down the best I've ever had. Love my boss, the work hours are very flexible and MGMT is very accommodating and understanding. Decent pay, great benefits, wonderful team culture and advancement opportunities. Very easy to work from home.
Cons
The work itself is suicide-inducing. Customers are rude, disrespectful, and constantly angry. Our systems are at best confusing and at worst unusable. Company policies seem almost intentionally anti-customer at times, which leads to more anger directed our way as front-line associates. Training is forced to be full-time and lasts 4-6 weeks, and yet doesn't completely cover everything you'll need to know about how to do your job.
