Pros

I have now been with TGG for many years and I'm continuously impressed by the caliber of people we hire. Not only do I have the best manager I've ever had in my career, but our new hires are at the top in terms of human beings and capabilities. It's like we have a company full of Unicorns who work really well together! Still couldn't imagine working anywhere else!

Cons

Fully remote work except for onsite time with clients means I don't get to hang out with our amazing employees in person very often.

Pros

Incredible group of people who genuinely have the best interests of the client in mind Best managers I've ever had at a company Solid pay for consulting with excellent benefits Open access to leadership

Cons

Industries are more limited to financial services and insurance, although the firm is always actively trying to broaden what types of clients they work with

Pros

I liked the people I worked with I appreciated the firm’s commitment to their non-negotiables; leadership references them often, and you hear them often mentioned in team meetings, etc. Incredibly tight recruiting and onboarding process; it’s clear the team put a lot of time and effort to determine who is the right “fit” for their firm

Cons

Found the culture to be a bit cliquey and felt like there is an “inner circle” within TGG Decisions around staffing for engagements were opaque and happened behind closed doors; specific people were tapped for desirable engagements over and over, while others were stuck in mundane or stagnant engagements for years at a time During my tenure at TGG I was really disheartened by the disproportionately high turnover of female and BIPOC employees People managers are incredibly busy. I often felt there wasn’t enough time for strategic discussions or mentorship Compensation, time off and benefits were lacking. Compensation was based on a bonus structure that required working a lot of hours. Benefits and PTO were standard - not terrible, but nothing out of the ordinary. The amount of paid holidays offered were the lowest I’ve seen in my career.
