This review reflects not just my experience, but also sentiments shared by several current and former colleagues.
- There is little to no organizational hierarchy or role clarity. Subject matter expertise is often ignored, leading to inefficiencies and poor-quality output. The company claims to be a leader, but operates like a startup with no agility or innovation usually associated with one.
- Leadership is unapproachable and disconnected. Despite running a small agency, they behave as though they are at the helm of a global firm, creating an atmosphere of distance and pretension.
- The internal project management system is a mess. Documents are scattered, processes are unclear, and the lack of structure leads to duplicated efforts and missed deadlines.
- One of the Co-CEO is driven more by ego than collaboration, making it difficult to express opinions or raise concerns. Constructive feedback is often dismissed or discouraged.
- Employee attrition is alarmingly high. Talented people regularly leave due to frustration, which only worsens the instability and stress for those who remain.
- The employment contract is unusually restrictive—6 months probation, a 30-day notice period, and a non-compete clause barring you from joining any other agency in New Brunswick. This is unnecessarily limiting and signals a lack of trust in employees.
- The office has an open layout, but employees are discouraged from talking or collaborating at their desks. Instead, they are forced to use meeting rooms for even minor discussions. If open communication isn’t allowed in an open workspace, it defeats the purpose—cubicles would make more sense.
