Pros
Foxhills is set in beautiful surroundings and has some nice photo opportunities. There are some regular customers which are really nice and help you through the day. You can use the spa and gym which is up to date and the pools are much cleaner than a public swimming pool. The food is also very tasty.
Cons
There is a great divide between management and employees. Management (especially higher management) have been with the company a long time and as a result come across arrogant and obnoxious. The lower staff are very welcoming but they are unfulfilled in their working lives and the turn over is very high. In order to get a promotion there have been staff members known to leave and then return on better wages. They know that it would be hard to replace them due to the high staff turn over. There is live in accommodation available but this is very poor and doesn't have a lot of the facilities you would expect. The washing machine breaks down regularly and the kitchen is often dirty. The training provided is minimal and sometimes incorrect. In my opinion there are times where some members of staff are pushed out by the higher management if they do not fit in, often because they are trying to change the company culture. There has been evidence of discrimination which can include personal appearance. Overall I would not recommend Foxhills as a good place to work.
