Pros
Decent office space, coffee isn't terrible. That's where the pros end.
Cons
Full disclosure, regarding the positive reviews- we're told to write those to improve TCEG's reputation online. Some may be legitimate, but I know others are not. For a company that says they care about people, they have a funny way of showing it, because I wouldn't consider bullying, overworking & false salary promises as forms of care. Initially you're welcomed in warmly, and told that you'll be given help & options wherever possible to succeed. They really convince you that you're entering a supportive environment, but as soon as the first few weeks tick by, that impression gets dropped entirely. If you can't manage the overabundance of work, you'll be chewed out in front of others for 'not pulling your weight' & 'letting the company down'. Breaking people down is their speciality, and even if try to do what you can- asking others for support, seeing if work deadlines can be pushed, literally anything you can think of to improve- it's never enough The managers are the worst for this, but I've even seen a partner act this way. Unless you can go beyond what is reasonable within a day of work, it's never enough. It got so bad at one point that I had genuine anxiety about going to work each day, which has never been a problem for me previously. You're also told that annual bonuses are an assured thing based on your experience within the company, but conveniently myself and other people doing the same role were all told "there isn't enough in the company's budget sorry"- cherry on top, you get a box of celebrations as a flimsy substitute. Somehow I doubt that's the case, seeing as the managers held private parties with booked out lounges, but I'm sure that's absolutely nothing. I really need to emphasise this- stay away from this company like your life depends on it. I don't want anyone to suffer through what I went through, because it's still affecting me to this day. If you want a better work life, there are so many other options. Please don't get suckered in by their rhetoric, avoid at all costs.
