Pros
The food is solid and the counter service system works well for this kind of business.
Cons
Poor Training programs lead to underdeveloped junior managers making emotional, reactive decisions at multiple locations. The lack of culture and diversity throughout the brand is a result of the aforementioned poor leadership. There is not strong leadership guiding and developing the managers of tomorrow. This has created a culture of "bully management" that doesn't explain or communicate the vision. It is a "Do as I say and do not question" kind of environment. This is unfortunately of the most toxic work environments I have experienced in my career. This is a brand that is expanding quickly to new states and creating new job opportunities, but ultimately they are looking to open up a number of stores and then sell the company. Bottom line - it is a cash grab job for any position within the brand and I would discourage anyone looking for a management position to apply at The Crack Shack.
