Pros
Broadleaf has some great resources and is very focused in some key areas including Voice and Video, Networking and Virtualization. I made 6 figures in 2012 and was on track to increase that for 2013.
Cons
Unfortunately, they hired a VP of Sales who is inexperienced in managing people and the VAR channel. He is running off all their good sales reps and replacing them with inexperienced reps without books of business. He is so inconsistent with his expectations and goals that no one really knows what he will come up with next. He came up Dallas only one time and spent the whole time on his phone like he was a "wheeler dealer" instead of focusing on discussing strategy of the DFW market. It's like a bad science project and unfortunately the sales reps are the lab rats. He tried to come after my clients once I left, but they all saw right through him and won't even give him the time of day. If you are considering a sales position with Broadleaf, please be aware that the sales management will make it an unpleasant experience.
