Pros
In fairness to them, as an Amazon subsidiary, the remuneration package is incredible. Great base line salary and great benefits including loads of shares.
Cons
It continually feels like departments are fighting against each other rather than working together. Very little support to staff, often because those that should provide it just don’t have the necessary experience to do so. Lots of internal bullying. Politics get in the way, both personally and professionally. Amazon would be ashamed if they actually knew what was going on here... They spout the Amazon Leadership principles at every opportunity but seldom display them. Work loads are insane and you get no appreciation for it. This company is extremely good at giving the “best face” to things that it can. Under all that makeup though is an ugly monster.
