Didn't listen to experience and replaced the process with a process that made most of the designers go from loving their job to dreading going to work everyday.
Said new process created much more work and the timelines didn't get bigger.
Designers were no longer able to build their own prototypes. This is huge because that is how we become better designers. I was told by several of my senior peers that I was performing at a senior level. I didn't have the standard 10 years of experience but had 7-8 years in corrugated. When I had open conversation with my boss over a period of a few months about a senior designer position, they changed the job description so that I no longer met the criteria and held the other senior designers to higher standards. I already was performing at a very high level (confirmed by my boss) and was even doing extra to help the team but I felt I had to jump through hoops for a promotion. This made me feel unappreciated.
