Pros
This is a great place to get your foundational knowledge if you are looking to explore the field of ABA. Many of the BCBAs are there for the right reasons and are supportive of the RBTs, the environment is build around encouragement and positive feedback. The supervision requirements are met in a timely manner and there is (a little) room for growth.
Cons
The heads of the company seem to view RBTs as expendable, don't value how hard this job is, and don't necessarily encourage feedback. The pay is too low for how mentally and physically taxing the job is, and the tiered system makes it difficult to grow within the company at a rate that makes it worth it to the employee. There is a ridiculous point system (that too many companies are utilizing currently) that negate the fact that working closely with small children will ensure that you are sick often, not to mention that we are all adults who should be able to decide whether or not we are able to work that day without the stress of being put on a behavior plan or worse. Also, if you get hurt on the job, you are guilted for having any needs/needing to go to appointments for that injury.
