Pros
Really positive work culture - everybody is friendly and very helpful, no workplace gossiping. The work is very intersting - i have worked on and managed 6 really impactful and small local projects in the past 1.5 years and have had opportunities to travel internationally.
Cons
Limited progression - only chance to progress is as and when opportunities come up (e.g. new projects or people leaving). The pay structure is non-existent -they say they are working on it but nothing has happened the entire time ive been there so payrises outside of inflation or starting a new position is rare. Also, since it is a charity the jobs are dependent on project funding so you are only employed as long as the project. They do try their hardest to keep you and put you on new projects but this isnt secure.
