Pros
1. Very good team, a cross functional working team was one of the best I've ever worked with in top tier level company, hands down. 2. Middle level managements were okay, they are foster learning and development and growth. 3. I had a chance to worked with smartest people, that were very adaptive and helpful. 4. And most importantly you have 8.30 to 5 PM. 5. The work was not difficult, they allowed us to use an AI and even agentic tools for some team (from what i've heard). 6. Good place to learn if you're just starting out as junior, very expensive lesson and growing fast.
Cons
1. Office politics can be very heavy and may be difficult to navigate. 2. Not ideal if you come from a strong Agile background. The organization can be quite siloed, and communication between departments is often limited, which can slow down handoffs and ownership. 3. Overtime for IT is not straightforward by default, but weekend support may still be expected. Requesting OT can involve a lot of process. 4. The workload can be demanding, with a consistently high-pressure environment. That said, the working team itself is usually helpful and supportive. 5. Work distribution can feel uneven. Some people carry a heavy workload, while others may have much less responsibility.
