Uncertain Future - Anonymous employee Terso Solutions Employee Review

Can be laid back and is tech focused.

It's a small company so don't expect huge advancements in tech. It's hard to move up the organization as a software dev.

The base level employees are great and incredibly talented individuals.

Upper management doesn't seem to have a clue as to how to run a successful business and rely on the talent of those below them. This would be fine if the skilled people got put into positions to make or assist in making important decisions, but often times it comes down to who is most buddy buddy with the CEO who makes the call. Additionally, Terso recently was acquired partially by another company and they proceeded to lay off 25% of the workforce and seem to just expect to company to be fine. This has hamstrung several key departments. This combined with additional people leaving post layoffs, the outlook for the company does not look good.
