Pros
The specific office I work in has a decent work environment. Most of the employees are team players and willing to help a co-worker when needed. The work life balance is good as I’m able to leave work at work. The health insurance and 401k are both great.
Cons
The onboarding process and training provided is not sufficient for an employee to learn how to do the job correctly. I felt I was thrown to the wolves when I first started. Some of the trainers have been out of the field too long or do not have the expertise in the policies and procedures used to do the job correctly. Ask two supervisors the same question about how to correctly do something and you will get two different answers. It feels you learn from your mistakes more than them actually teaching you how to do something the correct way first.
