Little Work-Life Balance, Micromanagement - Global Trainee Tenaris Employee Review

Pros

Pay and benefits were good, about standard for a big corporate company.

Cons

High pressure environment where bureaucracy and micromanagement hinder effective work. High stress that will follow you home. Expect to work minimum 50 hours per week—and depending on the position, you need to have your work phone on you at all times in case work calls. Not really a good company for work life balance—and you will be assured that “every job is like this one, so no need to look elsewhere”. That’s not true, you can find a job with a healthy work environment. Growth options are based on what your boss wants, not where your skills lie.

Pros

Room for growth, great culture, plenty of opportunities to learn, and investment in its employees.

Cons

Very demanding, lots of hours at time above 40, can be a lot to learn, higher expectations than other companies, and hard to seperate work and life at times.
