Terrible bully culture that starts from the top and works its way down. Nothing in place to prevent harmful behaviour. Low morale. Toxic work environment. Archaic business practices and tyrannical management. Not much in the way of perks. Little to no room for growth/promotion/raise. Many employees have left because of their treatment. Several have taken time off from depression caused by being overworked, under appreciated and publicly ridiculed. Short-sighted when it comes to spending. Little desire to invest in training or activities that may improve profitability in the long run.
One particular instance of poor management was when we were asked to fill in a form citing the negative words that came to mind when we thought of the company - an exercise aimed at making improvements to the toxic work environment. Once they collected the results, rather than running an open session on it to address grievances, it was just swept under the rug because management took it personally and saw it as negative towards the company. They even violated the anonymity that was supposed to come along with the submissions.
