Pros
Exciting work and lots of responsibility. Incredibly talented engineering team.
Cons
Extreme pressure from CEO. As a project manager I was told if I could not perform unrealistic tasks and timelines - myself and the team would be going home without jobs. As a project engineer and manager I was expected to work 60+ hour weeks without compensation. Very high turnover rate, general lack of confidence in management by employees and customers. Nepotism is very bad. The only positive review on this page is from the CEOs son who was given an upper management job and received a large bonus when the company was near bankrupt. Many engineers did not get paid out promised overtime. During this time the CEO purchased a brand new Tesla and tried to keep it under wraps. Bad reputation. You will not find a legitimate positive reference (employee, customer, or distributor) in the past 5 years. I grew tired of explaining to friends and others why I was working at this place. Breach of professional engineering practice and code of ethics. I was pressured into tapping my cell phone and trying to get a customer to admit fault. This was a customer who was left hanging because of poor scoping and execution by management and deserved to be treated better. Constantly on the verge of bankruptcy. Engineering decisions are often overruled by CEO without explanation and the outcome is detrimental to projects.
