Pros
A valuable experience that clarified the kind of work environment I should look for in the future.
Cons
During my time at the company, work–life balance was a major challenge. In my experience, employees who are the only person responsible for a department may find it difficult to take extended leave due to a lack of backup. Even when leave is applied for well in advance, a continuous one-week leave may not be approved, which makes it difficult to spend proper time with family. Internal communication and performance expectations also appeared loosely structured, with priorities changing frequently and limited clarity on how performance is evaluated. This can make it challenging for employees to understand what is expected or how their performance is being assessed. Another concern is job stability. In my experience, employment decisions could occur suddenly without much prior discussion, structured feedback, or a clear performance improvement process. This creates uncertainty for employees and makes it difficult to address concerns proactively. There were also situations where expectations were compared with the results delivered by external service providers or agents. However, those external providers typically have access to paid tools, platforms, and dedicated resources, while internal employees may not have the same level of support. This difference in resources can make such comparisons feel unrealistic and unfair. Overall, this workplace may not be suitable for individuals who value work–life balance, stability, clear management direction, and adequate resources to perform their work effectively.
