Great way to gain business experience coming from a science background. Investors are friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to share advice. Screening meetings are interesting, variety of companies come pitch in both high-tech and life science meetings. Due diligence efforts are where you learn the most.

Only a couple due diligence efforts per month, sometimes less. Summertime is a lull, not much activity. Analysts do not equally participate in DD efforts since it is volunteer, sometimes motivation for people is lacking.
