Pros

Team Epiphany provides Some of the most beautiful event aesthetics, produces some of the best events, and definitely works with some of the best clients. Young, cool-ish vibe, and there are some employees that were legit superstars and could definitely do better.

Cons

I posted this review in the past and somehow they were able to get it removed. This company’s structure is way too rooted in who is well liked by upper management, giving a high school vibe. Either you’re in…or you’re out and that’s no way a company should run. I’ve seen members of their senior leadership team fire people (maybe after 3 weeks of employment) and laugh about it with other staff members, which is cruel and unprofessional behavior. There were several instances of rudeness, disrespect, and horrible management. It is a sink or swim environment, which is completely opposite from their “family business” mantra. It works for some…just not for all. My experience here was by far one of the worsts in my career and although I wish them well, I immediately regretted ever stepping foot in that office. No one should ever feel that way about a job.

Pros

There is a talented group of people here committed to working hard and bringing incredible projects to life, even in less than ideal circumstances.

Cons

Leadership and management at this company is nonexistent. The leadership team is a best friend clique which leads to a culture of unprofessonalism. Most of the leaders spend more time gossiping about their employees than helping them. There is a general lack of respect for coworkers, which starts at the top and trickles down throughout the company. When things don’t go as planned there’s chaos, yelling, and finger pointing which makes for horrible company morale and impossible departmental cross-function. There are little to no processes in place, roles are not clearly defined, and everything lacks organization, making it extremely difficult to work efficiently. As a result, you’ll frequently work late and on weekends - you’ll never be fully offline. Your overworking will go unnoticed and unrewarded since it’s the norm. The level of pay is drastically low compared to the industry standard and compared to the amount of work you’re expected to do. The company knows this and they don’t care. If you’re considering working here and you’re thinking, “Working on cool projects will outweigh the cons”, I promise you it won’t.
